Free or Low Cost Recreation

In the 2020 and 2016 GPRRC Household Surveys, admission fees were identified as the number one barrier to participation. Being unaware of opportunities was the second most common barrier. As a result, the GPRRC hopes that by providing a list of low or no cost opportunities in the region, we can help residents access these programs, and encourage them to take advantage of the accessible recreation opportunities available to them.  We have also included transit opportunities, as transportation was the 5th most common barrier to access identified in the surveys.
